Artwork tips
Artwork tips
Best: vector files – AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. They stay sharp at any size.
Also great: a PNG with a transparent background at 300dpi, saved at the size you want it printed (or bigger). A high-resolution JPG works too – tell us if the background should be removed.
Avoid: small images saved from social media or websites – they can print blurry.
We print exactly what you upload and place, so a blurry or low-resolution file will print blurry. If the designer warns about image quality, use a bigger file or make the design smaller.

Typical maximum design sizes:
- Left or right chest: about 10cm wide
- Centre chest: 20–30cm wide
- Full front or full back: up to A3, about 30 × 40cm
- Upper back (across the shoulders): up to about 30cm wide
- Sleeve: about 8cm wide
- Inside neck label: about 8cm wide
Kids' and baby sizes have smaller print areas, so large designs are scaled down to fit. Your garment price includes the first print you place; each additional print is £4 (small), £5 (A4) or £7 (A3) per garment.
